AGM – Wednesday November 23rd 2011
The AGM is coming up on Wednesday 23rd of November at 8pm. Get there, be there and have your say.
The scoreline doesn’t really reflect it but every single boy played really well, with lots of heart. Well done boys, bring on next year!
Cromer score again with a good solo run and its all over 24-12. Cromer snatch a hard fought victory with all our boys doing their best .
After a solid warm-up with Coaches Tim and Jason, the boys came out all guns blazing against the top-of-the-table Harbord. Lead by our fearless leader, Jacob, the boys tackled and ran strongly all day.
Time to regroup & put in a good show in the second half. Both sides show good form & put in good runs. Our defence is good & our Eagles are determined to keep the Sharks out at least for a while. We played a great strong set & finally went in for a great try & converted. Sharks went in to score again for a final score of 36 to 6. I think the boys enjoyed a tough tassle with a great Sharks unit. Great job Eagles.
From the tap off Ferrets run hard and are met by Tyrese, Zak, Liam, Mattie and Jono. They persevere and eventually break our line to score in the corner but fail to convert. Score now at 10 -34.
With the ball back in our hands Finn makes a darting run up field, Lachlan puts up the kick and we get a fantastic bounce for Finn to run and offload to Tyrese who is held up over the line as the half time siren sounds. Bad luck, Belrose.
Our U/9’s Eagles were up against Cromer last weekend and were determined to shake off their last meeting which saw Cromer knock the mighty Eagles out of finals contention last year. They were ready for their revenge as the siren sounded as Jack Cannon moved in for the kick-off.
But then enter Tyrese…. His vision and speed off the mark caught the opposition napping! He made an awesome run down the sideline, gaining the Eagles valuable meters, which later set up the field position for the talented Finn to score a well deserved try.
Belrose Eagles v Narrabeen Under 9s Match Report 24 April 2010
Our season opener was going to be a difficult one as first up we played the premiers from last year, Narrabeen.
The boys started off well with Matthew Reisp tackling anything that moved. Good run from Lachlan Molyneux, then a good run from Jacob Preston, the boys making lots of ground.
