After a week’s break to recuperate from a myriad of bumps, bruises and other season threatening injuries, the Belrose Under 8s Whites fronted up at Nolans No. 1 to take on Christian Brothers.

It seemed so long ago since our red and gold U7 now U8 warriors had stepped out onto this particular bit of turf to face the mighty Narraweena blue and white team including the home crowd that always seems to turn up in large numbers.

Despite a few tips from Matt Cross of Sea Eagles fame for some of the boys before the game, and regardless of a huge effort from the whole team the valiant U8’s were pipped at the post by one try.

Our boys start last third with great gusto & after forcing the Devils over the side line regain the ball & see Ben, Daniel & Mungo tear into devils half. Unfortunately for us Harbord put in strong tackles to put us over the side line & give up the ball.
