Boof Lehmann re-kindles friendship
On tour Club President Craig Badger continues his State of Origin jaunt through the heart of Queensland’s working class heartland.
After a brief failed encounter with Olympic Legend Stephanie Rice at last nights State of Origin in Brisbane, Craig decided to widen the net and entertain Australian Cricket Legend Darren Boof Lehmann.
After a couple of drinks and kind words, Craig realized that he had met Boof before in the year 2000. Boof sought Badge out for some some shot selection advice.
Badge told Boof, “if your serious about Test Cricket you have to stop cross batting and hit through the V”.
Boof took this to heart and went on to become one of the true Australian Great Test Batsman.
Boof disappeared into the night a happy man, knowing that that the man who got his Test Career back on track, was still around to help him out and assist him in his long walk through the ups and downs of life.
